If you have "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" already selected then you need to either change the setting to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services" or add *autorun.exe* to the exception list. To add *autorun.exe* (depending on which you are using) to the exception list do the following:
Click the "Add…" button at the bottom of the screen.
You will then see an "Open" dialog. You need to navigate to the folder that *autorun.exe* is in and select the program.
Once you have added *autorun.exe* to the exceptions list click the OK button. You will need to restart Windows before the change takes effect.
Once you have completed the steps above Windows should allow installation to run with DEP turned on.
AFTER DOING THIS AND THE INSTALATION IS COMPLETE - REMOVE AS IT CREATES A SECURITY PROBLEM IF LEFT IN
you have to re-solder MAXI1987 chip. use very thin soldering tip. use a little bit of flux around the chip to cover a very thin layer of flux on all 40 pins. make sure your tip is clean & not to hot, test to make sure it does melt solder before you start. clean the tip with a wet sponge, put very very small amount of solder on tip, gently swipe the hot tip along the side 2-3 times, do this for 4 sides. check with 20x or more magnifier to make sure re soldering was successful & no pins are soldered together. try to start , if it works fine now, turn it off, clean the soldered area , put mobo back in the case & finish the laptop repair.
